EXAM RULES
EXAMINATION RULES FOR 5i COURSES (ATATÜRK'S PRINCIPLES AND REVOLUTIONARY HISTORY, TURKISH LANGUAGE, FOREIGN LANGUAGE) OF KAYSERI UNIVERSITY
The information containing examination rules is as follows, and you are required to read and approve these rules.

The mid-term, final, and makeup exams of the 5i courses will be conducted in supervised electronic environments, only in the computer laboratories of our university, with the presence of invigilators.

The effect of the supervised mid-term exams on the average grade is 40%, while the effect of the final and/or makeup exams on the average grade is 60%.

An exam entry document will be prepared for each student for mid-term, final, and makeup exams. Students can take the exam in the computer laboratory indicated in the exam entry document, which includes the date and time. They will not be allowed to take the exam in another location or room. Students will be allowed to enter the examination rooms 15 minutes before the exam begins. After 15 minutes from the beginning of the exam, no student will be allowed to enter the examination rooms.

Students will not bring mobile phones, cameras, or image-capturing devices to the exam. They will have their student ID card or student certificate and exam entry document ready when entering the exam room.

To increase the security of the exam and prevent the sharing of questions on social media or similar platforms, a security code and watermark are present on the exam screen. Those who share the questions during or after the exam without authorization, using the security code and watermark information on the exam screen, will be detected. If any student resorts to this method, all of their exams will be canceled, and the provisions of the "Higher Education Institution Student Discipline Regulations" will be implemented.

After accepting the examination rules, when you click the "Continue" button, information such as the number of questions to be answered and the exam duration will be displayed.

If you log in to the online exam system simultaneously from another browser or any device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) after starting your course's exam, your session will be terminated.

After starting the exam for the relevant course, a question related to that course and the answer choices for that question will be displayed on the screen. To answer the question, you need to mark one of the answer choices and click the "Next" button. If you want to leave the question unanswered, you can proceed to the next question by selecting the "Leave Blank" option.

If you close the browser, refresh the page, or click the back button on the page after selecting your course from your course list and starting your exam, your exam will be terminated. Therefore, perform only exam-related actions on the page and continue your exam.

At any point during the exam, if you click the "Finish Exam" button, a warning screen will appear. If you approve the question "Are you sure you want to end the exam?" by clicking the "Yes" button, your exam will be terminated. In such a case, under no circumstances will you be able to retake the relevant course's exam.
- When the exam time is up or when your session in the computer lab is over, the exam you are taking will be automatically ended by the system. In this case, the answers you have given to the questions will be evaluated until the exam is terminated.

During midterms, final exams, and makeup exams, if your internet connection is lost, you press the "Close Session" button, refresh the page, or exit the system for any reason, you can use the re-entry right three times if your exam is still ongoing. If your exam has ended during this interruption period, no rights will be granted to you. In addition, when you have used all of these rights, you will not be given a new right, and you will not be able to re-enter the exam for that course. Therefore, please continue your exam by performing only exam-related activities on the page.

The time you will use when you re-enter your exam will be calculated by subtracting the time you used in the previous entry/entries to the exam for that course from the total time of the exam.

After moving on to the next question, you can go back to the previous question/questions for the purpose of checking or correcting.
